Join us for our monthly virtual film discussion. On Wednesday, February 5th at 7 PM we will be talking about Neptune Frost (2021).
This unique Afrofuturist scifi musical is set in Burundi and tells the story of a group of people trying to overthrow a totalitarian government. It was co-directed by musician and artist Saul Williams and actress and playwright Anisia Uzeyman. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards.
