Description:

Will Ferrell is The Elf (2003, PG) in this classic Christmas comedy. Human child Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the awkward adult Buddy travels to New York in his head-to-toe green elf outfit to search for his real father. It turns out his father is tough, cynical businessman Walter Hobbs (James Caan). After a DNA test proves it, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the goofy son he never knew he had, generating supersized elfin chaos as well as plenty of Christmas spirit.
