Join us on Zoom to discuss the 2023 film The Monk and the Gun, from Bhutanese director Pawo Choyning Dorji.

As the isolated and peaceful Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan prepares to become the world’s youngest democracy, a Buddhist lama sends his disciple on a journey across the nation to bring him guns by the full moon to “set it right.” (English & Dzongkha, 1 hour 51 minutes)
