Description:
Please join us for a screening of Projecting L.A. 2024, a 60-minute video showing compelling street photography and powerful photojournalism by 32 L.A. based photographers. The subject matter: Los Angeles and the people who make up our city. First shown in a gigantic outdoor venue to 2,000 spectators in April, this video of images, set to perfectly matched music, was projected 80 feet wide and three stories tall on the side of a building.
After the projection, several photographers in the show will sit amongst the audience for a casual round-table discussion.
The J. Paul Getty Trust donated the equipment needed for these projections and is giving a free Getty ($25) parking pass to everyone who attends the Projecting L.A. 2024 Library Series.
