Join us as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of The Creature From The Black Lagoon with a screening of the film followed by a talk by Mallory O’Meara about Milicent Patrick, the woman who designed the Creature, and Mallory’s book, The Lady From the Black Lagoon.

Mallory O'Meara is an author, screenwriter, and producer for the independent film company Dark Dunes Productions. Whether it is for the screen or the page, she seeks creative projects imbued with horror and monsters. A New England native, she now lives in Los Angeles.

Film screening at 12:00 noon, talk by Mallory O’Meara at 1:30 p.m.

The Friends of the West Valley Library are providing copies of The Lady From the Black Lagoon to be given away at this program. Quantities are limited. Mallory will be available to sign them after her talk.
