Description:

Fantastic Films is a monthly virtual lunchtime chat where attendees discuss selections ranging from sci-fi, horror and fantasy fare to the outright surreal and otherworldly, all of which can be enjoyed free of charge with your library card!

For our group's fourth installment, we'll be discussing Neptune Frost (2021), an Afrofuturistic musical, written and co-directed by poet and musician Saul Williams, along with Anisia Uzeyman, who set their subversive story of love, community and hacking against a backdrop of coltan mining in Burundi.

The film is available on DVD and can also be streamed via hoopla or Kanopy.
