Description:

The next generation of ghost hunters helps revive the classic ‘80s franchise in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021, PG-13). Single mom Callie returns to small-town Oklahoma with her two teenage kids, settling into the dilapidated old house of her late eccentric father, Egon Spengler. There’s a weird old vehicle in the garage, and strange supernatural happenings start to put everybody on edge. The family must pull together with the help of high school teacher Mr. Grooberman to revive the Ghostbusters legacy, and do battle against a fast-approaching ecto-tastrophe. Laughs and wild special effects aplenty from father-son team Ivan (who directed the original ‘80s films) and Jason Reitman.
