The Monster Demands a Mate!
Join us as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of The Bride of Frankenstein with a screening of the film!
Following the movie, Julian David Stone, author of It’s Alive, will do a talk about the making of The Bride of Frankenstein, and Christina Rice, from the LAPL Photo Collection, will talk about Lanchester’s work with Los Angeles’ Turnabout Theatre and her partnership with Forman Brown which are both represented by collections at Central Library!
The film starts at 12 noon.
The talk starts at 1:30 p.m.
